Its testing team has skills in automated tools such as Win Runner, Quick Test Pro, Test Director, Track-wise etc. to further augment the value of its offerings. The services provided under this offering cover the entire gamut of Testing Services.

Testing is performed through a process of planning, execution and reporting. Planning entails assimilating knowledge and assessing the needs and scope of testing to be performed. From the system documents and Use-Cases provided by the customer the application in comprehended and disseminated to the testing team. A test strategy and scope is agreed upon. A test plan is then created and reviewed together with the customer. Any tools to be deployed are also decided at this point.

The next step is to establish a knowledge base which would continuously be updated. BEAS recognizes the importance of knowledge retention and continuity and invests in creating and mentoring a process to preserve and readily make available the knowledge mined and enhanced incrementally through the life-cycle of the project. In this repository it keeps all documents and artifacts related to the assignment. The effective use of such a repository greatly enhances BEAS’s capability to retain knowledge as well as to desseminate fast, during team ramp-up.

  • Functional Test
  • Regression Testing
  • Compatibility Test
  • Usability Testing
  • Security Test
  • Load/Stress Test
For each of the tests performed, proper reporting and tracking of "deviations" are done. BEAS's approach to preserve knowledge, reduces customer risks. It also provides value, to the Customer by performing root-cause and impact analysis.
